No! go see Moon! Its amazing! Its 2001 for the new millenium, with the attention to detail of Alien. It isn’t scary. Just… lonely… with a bit of mystery. Also, the robot in it is awesome. I think you and Cami would love it.
I’m with David… we’re telling you… go see Moon! It wasn’t scary at all, and my wife would agree with that. She even liked it, and seeing that you’ll probably see it in the right screen format, you guys will enjoy it even more than we did.
Food Inc. (which I don’t know anything about) does sound way more scary… as that’s totally its intention: to scare you. Don’t get scared!! Just go have fun! Go see Moon!! 🙂
My Moon Alarm is going off, does someone not want to see it?
Outragious. It’s an excellent piece of filmmaking, one of the best sci-fi films I’ve seen in a while (and not scary at all. Tad on the creepy side sometimes, but it never tries for horror). You guys should definitely check it out, you should love it.
What’s bothered me about Heigl’s behavior is especially when she criticized Apatow & Crew for being sexist… except that they were reinventing the romantic comedy for male appeal because frankly, they’ve been neglected in that genre for years.
She claimed her character was pigeonholed and stereotyped, but I’m guessing Heigl hasn’t really watched her own TV series to see that most of the men on Grey’s Anatomy have the character depth of newts.
“The Ugly Truth” looks so bad because it looks like Gerard Butler is a jerk to Katherine Heigl the whole movie, but you know she’s going to end up picking him in the end. It’s just going to show that men can disrespect women and that beautiful women will put up with it. Although it’s possible that there’s more to this movie, as I also have only seen the previews and haven’t read anything else about it.
There is a specific scene in The Ugly Truth that was released on the internet a couple of weeks ago that makes Heigl’s claims of Knocked Up being sexist 100% irrelevant.
I hope to be talking about it in the comic sometime next week.

I want to see Moon so bad, but this town is a cinematic wasteland. We never get anything that’s only out in limited release.
