Nah, it would totally be an awesome idea. See, the Xenomorphs make their way onto a Predator ship, and the struggling between the two causes the ship to crash land on Earth at Camp Crystal Lake. They hit the lake and accidentally zap it, waking Jason up and causing him to get involved. Then, at a nearby asylum, some of the kids from Freddy’s neck of the woods accidentally wake him up, and he becomes intrigued at all the commotion nearby.
