ATTENTION MYSTERY ADVERTISER!

Monday, December 1st, 2003

I feel kind of awkward posting this to the main page of the site, but there was an individual I had exchanged e-mails with about a month ago that was interested in advertising on the site at the beginning of December. I’VE MISPLACED YOUR E-MAILS! Please get in touch with me soon. I’m very interested in doing business with you!

Be sure to check out our latest sponsor Destined For Nothing. They’ve advertised with Theater Hopper before and have been nice enough to do so again. The comic is a great piece of social and political satire which is sorely lacking in the web comic scene if you ask me. Check it out and be enlightened!

A LINK, A REMINDER, A RETURN

Wednesday, February 11th, 2004

I just wanted to call everyone’s attention to a few things.

First, please visit our latest advertiser Stickman Limited. The name of the comic is an apt description – truth in advertising! – but it’s a good comic, so please loan them a little link-love.

You’ll notice their advertisement right beneath the comic. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this is your opportunity to also place an ad in this space. This is a great bargain, folks. 50,000 ad views for $7. The crew at Stickman Limited was smart enough to know a great deal when they see one.

Wanted to hook up my good friend Brian Carroll over at Instant Classic with a shout out. The server that IC was being hosted on was struck by the MyDoom virus. That’s why you didn’t see his site for a while. Then, once they brought it back up, he lost FTP access to his server. Well, everything is back to normal now and as a matter of fact, Brian just uploaded a new strip today. Welcome him back!

Lastly, did anyone notice this? How long has it been out there?

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN ADVERTISING

Tuesday, June 15th, 2004

I don’t know what was dumped into the water supply yesterday, but I just checked the site’s statistics and we received 6,367 unique hits on Monday! Although site traffic has been increasing steadily over time, this was quite a spike!

I’m not pointing this out to be a braggart, but wanted to call your attention to it in case you were considering advertising with Theater Hopper. Our rates are some of the cheapest you’ll find and we’re only one of a handful of comics that make their rates known to potential customers UP FRONT!

If you have a web site you’d like to promote – and it doesn’t have to be another webcomic! It can be anything! – now would be a good time to hitch your wagon to Theater Hopper! Check our advertising page for more information!

NEW SPONSOR!

Friday, June 18th, 2004

We have a new sponsor at Theater Hopper. Be sure to check out Magic Video Clips. It’s a pretty cool idea, actually. Spend a little cash and get access to an online video that demonstrates cool magic tricks. There are previews of the tricks so you know what you’re getting and the cost is dirt cheap.

I’m seriously thinking about putting down some coin to figure out that Paint Brush Colour Change trick!

By the way, if you have a web site you’d like to advertise, you can find more information on how to do so here!

NEW ADVERTISER

Wednesday, July 7th, 2004

Real quick, everyone needs to visit the site of our latest advertiser JDizzle Comics.

Creator Jim Duncan was out of the game for a while, but now he’s back with a vengence. Show him some love! He writes some funny stuff!

NEW ADVERTISER

By the by, everyone should make a point to stop by Split Reason, our latest advertiser. They sell all kind of cool clothes for the gamer within!

I really have my eye on that Hammer and Sickle hat!

SITE BUSINESS

Monday, July 12th, 2004

You’re going to want to visit our new advertiser O’Deer Comics. They’ve advertised with us before. The only difference between now and the last time I mentioned them in this space is that their comic has only gotten better. Funnier and more detail in the drawings. Check it out.

Also, you only have a few hours left to bid on the hand-made Theater Hopper dolls that Cami put together. You’ll kick yourself in the morning if you let these one-of-a-kind creations go to someone else.

Lastly, I haven’t heard back from Amazing Spider-Man artist Mike Deodato. I tried sending him an e-mail, but I’m not sure if he received it. You might recall the reason why I wanted to get in touch with him if you read last Wednesday’s blog.

If anyone knows of a way to contact him directly, please let me know!

NEW SPONSOR!

Wednesday, July 21st, 2004

Oh! Don’t forget to check out our latest sponsor Ripeville. It’s a web comic about talking vegetables, but they’re way cooler than those damn Veggie Tales. These sprouts have FLAVOR!

Yea, I know. Lame pun. 40 lashes with a wet noodle for me.

Check out the comic, though. It’s much funnier than my lame attempt at promoting them!

TRAFFIC PATTERNS

Wednesday, July 28th, 2004

This is not me bragging. This is me sharing one of those “I am flabbergasted and alarmed” kind of moments.

In some weird quark of fate, Theater Hopper racked up 14,889 unique hits yesterday. I’m not sure what that means. Because on a normal day, we see maybe 4,000 uniques.

To help shape your perspective, that’s more hits in one day than Theater Hopper saw in the entire MONTH of December 2002. True, we were only 4 months old at the time, but that’s a pretty wide gap.

Checking the registry, I was seeing a lot of hits from the PVP Forums and the forums over at Super Hero Hype. Who ever is linking me up in those places… KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

I suppose now would also be a good time to mention that I have some advertising spots opening up soon. If you’re interested in reaching a lot of people for a little bit of expense, our extraordinarily fair rates and advertising packages are listed here.

Man, I’m sleazy!
