Well the good news is that I was video interviewed today on The Comic Book Syndicate local cable show and got to showcase your shirt that I bought from you, Spoiler Alert after our video interview during C2E2. Trying to get them to enjoy webcomics as much as they enjoy comics.
Great writeup! It’s good to hear that you had a decent con. I had a couple of friends at C2E2 over in the comic book section, but I haven’t seen them post about the experience yet, so it was nice to hear about the convention.
Just a tip, Google Maps is wrong very very often Usually it will take you most of the way then towards the end mix up a left/right, which of course throws you off completely. My boyfriend and best friend insist on continuing to use it, no matter how many times it gets them lost, even when I’m there to say “I told you so.” I use Map Quest, and I’ve never had a problem.
I’m glad you had a good time! As a fan of webcomics, I wish I could hang out with a bunch of webcomic artists, but you’re one of them, so it must be even cooler for you to hang out with people who do what you do and to talk about what you all love. And karaoke is awesome!
I can tell (all the time, but especially from this con report) that you really love and appreciate your fans. That is just wonderful. Tom, you are so cool.
Actually, I’ve had pretty good luck with Google maps in the past. MapQuest has traditionally been the unreliable one for me. One time we used MapQuest in Kansas City and it tried to get us to cut through an alley about 4 feet wide when there was a huge cross street about half a block away.
@Tom, Must be regional, then. MapQuest knows California but has trouble with Kansas City. Google Maps knows…. maybe a lot of stuff, but not Chicago and not California. It thinks the UCLA dorms are by the Medical Center. They’re not. Oh, they are not.

@Kurt Sasso,
That’s excellent new, Kurt! I appreciate the extra exposure! Thanks!

That thing with the wife and the bees sketch is heartwarming. You’re a real good egg, Tom.
