The only thing cooler than that would be a shoutout from Ebert or Roeper for your thoughts on movies. Heck, just a mention in IMDB would be kool to have ^_^.
@Kris,
The banner I originally ordered through GotPrint.net was going to take 4 – 8 days to deliver. So there was no way it was going to get to me before the show.
A friend of mine recommended another friend and I sent him the artwork on Tuesday, asking him to overnight it to me. Hopefully, I will receive it today! Fingers crossed!
Someone was wearing a pretty accurate Kick-Ass costume at Wondercon. It didn’t look too weird, but there’s definitely something about it that doesn’t quite click with me.
Regardless, going to the 10PM show tomorrow. Can’t wait.
To be fair to jared almost any costume from a comic book would be either frightening or hilarious in real life.

The costume, btw, is intended to be a green diving suit that he bought off of eBay.
Did you get your banner in time?

@Relaxing Dragon,
I think it’s the nose being covered up that makes it look weird.
I mean, I guess it makes sense if it’s supposed to be retrofitted from a diving suit (open holes for the eyes and mouth). But it’s still jarring.
The costume in the comic looks cooler. The mouth slit they added for the movie looks ridiculous.
@Sobchak,
That’s right. I forgot about that. The costume in the comic didn’t have a mouth slit.
But, y’know, they had to do that. Otherwise, you’re lead character looks like a Power Ranger, bobbing his head frantically while delivering lines.
*bad pun alert*
Pokey would be involved in pony-play.
Looking forward to hanging out this weekend at C2E2, buddy!
Wouldn’t a homemade Kickass costume just be considered a Kickass costume? Saying it’s homemade seems redundant.
