On August 5, 2008, Theater Hopper suffered a catastrophic data loss when the external hard drive storing five years worth of original art failed. The hard drive has been sent to Ontrack Data Recovery with the hope that these vital files can be restored.
However data recovery is not cheap. So I have launched a donation drive, asking the readers to help offset the cost of the procedure. Read more about what you can do to help and what you will receive in return! |
I am not simply looking for a handout. I'd like to give you something in return for your support. Please look over these options and decide what works best for you!
A donation of $25 will earn you a custom sketch
A 4 x 6" sketch card with the image of your choice drawn, inked and signed by the artist!
A donation of $50 will earn you a full-page drawing
An 8 x 10" sheet of bristol board with the image of your choice drawn, inked and signed by the artist!
A donation of $75 will earn you an appearance in Theater Hopper
We'll give you a walk-on role in an upcoming Theater Hopper comic and then send you an 11 x 17" full-color poster of the strip signed by the artist!
A donation of $100 will you a fully-rendored custom comic strip!
A completely custom comic for your eyes only! Not only do you get to keep the original art - drawn and inked on an 8 x 10" sheet of bristol board - but we'll also print up the finished comic, colored, shaded and lettered as an 11 x 17" poster! Want Tom to sign that for you? No problem!
 In addition to these options, anyone who donates ANY amount will be in the running for an original production of the campaign artwork (seen to the right), signed by the author as a full color poster!
But, as an incentive to donate as much as you can, the individual who donates the MOST will receive a one-of-a-kind canvas painting of Theater Hopper characters created by yours-truly!
I can personally assure you that this creation will never be duplicated for any other purpose and you can feel confident knowing that your generosity will be rewarded with something wholly unique!
